POTTED SNOWFLAKE

Requirements

  • Arbee Tinsel Yarn
  • Small Terracotta Pot
  • Arbee 40mm Natural Wooden Bead for head
  • Black permanent marker or black paint
  • Nail polish (pink)
  • Glue
  • White paint (or colour of choice)
  • 4 x Arbee 12mm wooden beads for hands and feet

Method

  1. Wrap Tinsel yarn around 4 fingers, 5 times. Tie a small piece of yarn in the middle to form hair. Glue onto the centre of the bead covering the hole. Paint on eyes with black marker and cheeks with nail polish.
  2. Make two cords by taking 3 times the required finished length of Tinsel Yarn and twist until it twists back on itself. Make 2
  3. Thread two ends of the cord through the hole in the pot. Slide a small bead on each end of the cords and knot in place. (One third of the cord forms the arms and the remainder the legs.) Glue the cord in place at the top of the pot and attach the head at the same time. Randomly sponge white paint over the pot to complete.
